The syllabus is
a bone of contention when it comes to NTA UGC NET as there is no proper
syllabus set in place by the authorities that conduct NTA UGC NET examination.
This in turn leads to a lot of confusion and frustration. The scope of the
syllabus however can be gauged if the question papers are studied closely. The
list mentioned above can be a good starting point. The list broadly depicts the
various literatures you need to study. A list of all the authors is also
available in the downloads
section. You should ideally start with reading a history book
and then move on to solving question
papers simultaneously, so that you not only know what needs
to be done and up to what extent.
